THE BEST 4K AND 8K CONTENT IN THE WORLD AT THE 4K-HDR SUMMIT IN MALAGA

The best 4K and 8K images will be present at the 4K-HDR Summit in Malaga thanks to leading companies in 4K content such as Travelxp, Wild Stories, Paramax Films, Caracol TV and Movistar+ that will show during the opening day of this international summit, next November 6, spectacular images on travel, nature, culture, the latest 4K productions made by Caracol TV for Netflix and the presentation of the second season of “La Peste”.

In addition, for the first time in Spain will be able to see the 8K images recorded from the International Space Station by NASA and enjoy amazing images captured by the producer The Explorers in remote locations and Moto GP, exhibited on the exclusive televisions QLED 8K Samsung, in the demonstration area of the 4K-HDR Summit.

Entrance will be open to the public, who can register for free at this link. Attendees will also be able to enjoy the latest 4K, 8K and HDR content and devices.

The 4K-HDR Summit has become an unmissable annual event for students and professionals involved in audiovisual technology, where top engineers and top producers come together to talk about the latest 4K, 8K and HDR and showcase their pioneering projects in the Demo Area (free access).

During three days (November 6, 7 and 8), attendees to the Digital Content Pole of Malaga will be able to enjoy 24 keynotes and 4 panel sessions, among which are Travelxp, Wild Stories, Paramax Films, Caracol TV and Movistar+.

Prashant Chothani, CEO of Travelxp from India, will announce “new limits for 4K HDR and 8K HDR operators”.

Travelxp 4K HDR, the world’s first 4K HDR channel, presents 100% of the original premium travel content (destinations, cultures, gastronomy, adventures…) in 10 bits, 50p, REC2020 color space.

With recordings in more than 50 countries, Travelxp is distributed in more than 40 countries around the wolrd and in more than 15 languages.

Pablo Alemán, (Managing Director) and Juan Luís Santos (Post-production Manager) of Wild Stories, will participate in the Malaga Summit, a company that represents exceptional content from independent producers, telling spectacular stories of nature, wildlife, travel, human interest and lifestyle.

On the other hand, Amos Rozenberg, CEO of the French production company Paramax Films, will talk about retransmissions of Jazz festivals in 4K and 8K.

Paramax Films is a production company specialized in the filming and distribution of concerts all over the world.

They have more than 100 hours of jazz, pop and rock concerts with prestigious artists (Macy Gray, Maroon 5, Sly & Robbie, Justin Bieber, Will I am, Black Eyed Peas, 50 Cents, etc.).

The Colombian corporation Caracol TV has also joined forces with Eymard Cabrales to talk about theirs latest 4K productions for Netflix.

In the last edition of the 4K Summit we already had the presence of Johanna Rueda, Director of Broadcasting. On this occasion it will be its Technical Director, Eymard Cabrales, who will participate to present before the 250 exclusive attendees in the auditorium the latest 4K productions made by the Colombian television channel for Netflix.

On the other hand, Nicolás Lecocq, Senior Manager Video Business of Movistar+, will show us the Official Trailer for the presentation of the second season of the acclaimed Movistar+ series, La Peste, in UHD quality.

The Peste T2 is the most ambitious original Movistar+ series to date. It will premiere for the first time worldwide on November 11 at the Festival de Cine Europeo de Sevilla and on the Movistar+ platform for all its clients on November 15.
