Antonio Fernández-Paniagua will talk about the Development situation and the planned actions

The 5GForum in Malaga, the main event in Spain on 5G, will include in its agenda the participation of Antonio Fernández-Paniagua, from the Ministry of Economy and Business, to explain last hour of the National 5G Plan, the development situation and the planned actions.

The second edition of the 5GForum will take place on April 24 and 25 at the Digital Content Hub in Malaga with the participation of leading national experts and main companies such as Orange, Telefónica, Vodafone, Samsung, Nokia, Cellnex, Hispasat, Rohde&Schwarz, Cisco, RTVE, and others.

Fernández-Paniagua will speak on Thursday 25 April, just the day after an important meeting of the European Commission, so that at the last minute Spanish time on the deployment of the 5G will be able to provide first hand news and actions at European level in the field of spectrum management.

Of particular interest will be the timetable and actions related to the release and availability of the 700 MHz band for the provision of 5G services. This band is currently occupied by televisions, so citizens will have to make another tuning of their televisions before 30 June 2020, if there is no news.

The 5GForum, which will take place just two months after the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, has become an obligatory meeting point for the main Spanish companies and experts related to the 5G, who find in the event a space to calmly comment on all the novelties of this new technology.

Facing the hustle and bustle of the MWC in Barcelona, the 5GForum in Malaga offers ideal conditions for high-level networking and first-hand knowledge of the latest developments.

The agenda of the 5GForum, which will be announced on 20 March at a press conference, includes 30 keynotes and many hours of professional meetings in a more relaxed atmosphere than that of major trade fairs and congresses.

Until March 22 the organization has opened an offer period for registrations with discounts of 100 € on the official rates. In addition, those attending the 5GForum will be able to enjoy a 30% discount on their AVE tickets.
